We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-organized Marketing Specialist (f/m/d) who will assist in planning, coordinating, measuring, and monitoring all public media activities for AVL’s Engineering Business Unit. This position will play an integral role in the marketing organization to support in expanding our share of voice in offline and online media communication channels. You will be responsible for the planning of the publications in terms of timing and global industry events and you will support in executing publications in international industry magazines to achieve overall marketing and company goals.


As a Marketing Specialist (f/m/d) for our Engineering Strategic Business Unit you are part of the Corporate Marketing team at AVL headquarters.

 

  • Establish and expand the media relations, with global offline and online industry media
  • Planning technical publications in alignment with internal stakeholders, in the areas of product management, sales and engineering
  • Preparing high-level management decisions for publications at thought leadership events
  • Planning technical publications considering timing and leading industry events 
  • Reporting of activities from a quantitative perspective on a global scale
  • Ensuring the documentation and provision of all information for all technical publications
  • Monitoring and planning of the publication budget
  • Fulfil marketing operational tasks such as salesforce campaign setup, maintenance of the media gallery (CELUM) and much more 
  • Close collaboration with the PR Manager

  • Completed education (University or University of Applied Sciences) with a focus on marketing, content marketing, PR management or equivalent study 
  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience in a B2B environment
  • Knowledge on content marketing, media relations, PR and publication planning
  • Clear understanding of B2B marketing channels, tools and tactics as well as a basic understanding of technical complex solutions and services
  • Understanding and basic skills in CRM (Salesforce), marketing automation tools and JIRA ticketing system
  • Highly structural working method, strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Very good analytical, communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Business fluent knowledge in German and English
