Senior Cybersecurity Engineer (m/w/d)

We meet our customers' high standards of reliability, stability and security.   As a member of the Information Security team you will develop, deploy, and operate cybersecurity solutions with the purpose to identify, isolate, and manage cybersecurity incidents. You will have the opportunity to expand your potential by working together to establish the security architecture of our on-premise and cloud infrastructure as well as inhouse developed software products. Additionally, you will perform security assessments and continuously improve internal processes such as the software development lifecycle, vulnerability management or incident handing. Your role Active participation in the operation and further development of the Security Operation Center (SOC) o   Develop, implement and assess procedures related to incident handling or vulnerability management o   Identify, analyze, mitigate and communicate cybersecurity alerts and incidents o   Operate, integrate and maintain our cybersecurity solutions on-premise and in the cloud o   Conduct verification and validation review activities related to infrastructure and software security (Network, Host and Application Vulnerability assessment) Design and propose security architectures following the organizational policies and standards Collaborate and coordinate cybersecurity-related interdepartmental topics Requirements Your profile Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical field or equivalent practical experience 3+ years professional experience in a cybersecurity role and/or 3+ years professional experience in system or network engineering Competent in and experience with the software development lifecycle Strong conceptual and analytical skills Fluent in English (written and spoken) Considered as a plus: Relevant certifications in the security field (SSCP, CCSP) Experience in public and private cloud infrastructure technologies (AWS, K8s) Familiarity with one or more standards and regulations (Visa 3-D Secure ACS/ES security requirements and/or PCI-DSS / PA-DSS) Fluent in German (written and spoken) Our salary range for this position starts at EUR 53,000 gross per year (for full-time employment). The actual offer will depend on your skills and experience and may be significantly higher.
