Company Description The Strategic Procurement Media team focuses on balancing internal stakeholder demand with the dynamics of the external market, with emphasis on purchasing categories in the media industry. Our key activities include spend management, price negotiations, supplier relationship management, benchmarking and risk management. Job Description Strategic Procurement As Strategic Procurement Manager you will use your expertise in IT outsourcing to design and negotiate contracts that meet the needs of both parties and to ensure they meet our standards of quality. You will perform market research for digital products and services, as well as monitor and analyze trends across media technology and operations spend to identify areas for improvement and savings. You will be working with different sources of information to perform external company spend analysis, total cost of ownership analysis, savings, supplier performance, and ad-hoc custom data requests by the Business to define purchasing recommendations. As a result, you will enable business growth and value generation for Red Bull’s media businesses. Supplier Relationship Management In this role you will drive the implementation of our standard supplier management framework by identifying, qualifying, and developing potential suppliers based on the media business needs. You will use your expertise to identify opportunities to harmonize and optimize our digital supplier portfolio. To establish a secure supply chain, you’ll develop and execute supplier strategies, which includes negotiating supplier contracts, measuring supplier performance, ensuring supplier due diligence and engagement in risk management. You will also manage transition and transformation and drive innovation. Stakeholder Management In addition, you’re the first point of contact for the Media IT, Media Operations and Digital Platforms & Services team. You will partner with the business on procurement relevant topics and support them with translating our business strategy into a sourcing strategy. It is your responsibility to establish and maintain regular communications with the relevant stakeholders and to ensure Red Bull media businesses are receiving the highest quality at competitive market prices. Qualifications Degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Legal, Commercial Informatics or proven long-term experience on the job. Fluent in English, German is a plus Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role Excellence negotiation and analytical skills Experience in project & process management and understanding of the state-of-the-art procurement processes Advanced level of Microsoft Excel skills and preferably experienced with ERP systems, SAP and BI knowledge is seen as a plus Be a team player, but also have confidence working independently Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work on different projects in parallel Solution-focused mindset and strong problem-solving thinking to develop innovative and sustainable solutions Strong communication and presentation skills Additional Information Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2,229 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
