As a People and Culture Generalist, you’ll be part of our People & Culture team, serving as the first point of contact for incoming employee requests. Your playground: Be a trusted advisor to employees and team leaders on all people-related matters Co-creating and executing HR guidelines and processes Handling people operations tasks such as contract creation, onboarding, payroll preparation, and absence management Working on and supporting a variety of HR initiatives to nourish team engagement & culture as well as learning & development Conceptualizing and organizing company offsites and remote team-building activities Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices Help us build a world-class team that's passionate about our mission. What to bring along: 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or People Operations Specialist in a startup Basic knowledge of Austrian or European labour law Outstanding organizational skills and joy in organizing and hosting team events A nack for the startup world and love for bringing structure to an ever changing environment Passion to interact with and learn from people from different cultures Proactive and service-oriented mindset paired with a "let's do it" pragmatic attitude Excellent English and German communication skills Plus points for experience with training and development initiatives Bonus points for: Working experience in a tech start-up Having experience working with distributed teams What's in it for you? : Remote-first work environment: work from anywhere within CET +/- 3 hours Flexible working time with core hours from 10am - 3pm CET Virtual office space via Gather An international work environment with colleagues from 12 nations True work/life balance: Employment contracts are based on a strict 38,5hr work week (any extra hours are offset with additional paid vacation time) Fun, relaxed, and regular remote and onsite team events Personal development budget and allocated learning days General Exit Participation for all employees in the event of an exit during their tenure Vacation Days: min 25 days per year (or more if local labor law requires) plus additional leave for special events The full-time salary range for this position is EUR 55.950,00-66.880,00 per annum. At JENTIS, the salary is comprised of a fixed monthly base and a quarterly performance bonus. Our employment contracts are not all-inclusive, meaning they are based on a 38,5 hour work week with the option to take compensatory days off. Final salaries are determined based on an individual's geographic location, qualifications, experience, and time commitment.
