The company was founded on May 29, 1933 and is headquartered in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</p> <p><b>Job Summary</b></p> <p>This role is essential for someone with hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in the area of rotating equipment. As a key member of our team, you will leverage your expertise in manufacturing drawings, CNC 5-Axis machining, and CAD/CAM applications to maintain and repair our corporate equipment.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide technical support in the manufacturing of spare parts for rotating equipment, including process selection, manufacturing plans, and CAM programming.</li> <li>Offer technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.</li> <li>Support field installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment.</li> <li>Troubleshoot, repair, modify existing equipment, and identify cost reductions and process improvements.</li> <li>Prepare design engineering packages for rotating equipment.</li> <li>Conduct technical investigations for shop repair return jobs, identifying root causes and corrective actions.</li> <li>Implement the latest technology in manufacturing methodology.</li> <li>Develop and revise departmental technical procedures and standards.</li> <li>Coach and share knowledge with junior engineers, quality inspectors, and technicians.</li> <li>Provide technical input for purchasing specifications, including technical proposal evaluation.</li> <li>Collaborate with department engineers, Consulting Services Department (CSD), and other company departments and manufacturers.</li> <li>Coordinate with In-House Repair Units, Quality Assurance units, In-Kingdom Contractors, and vendors for shop repair work scopes.</li> <li>Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.</strong></li> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.</li> <li>Minimum of 20 years of experience in the manufacturing field, with specific expertise in the mechanical design and manufacturing of major rotating equipment.</li> <li>Proficiency in CNC 5-Axis machining, and CAD/CAM applications such as NX Siemens and Solidworks.</li> <li>Experience in reverse engineering is highly preferable.</li> <li>Ability to train and develop younger engineers.</li> <li>Excellent English reading and writing skills.</li> </ul>
