Then this is exactly the right job for you: as Senior Staff Engineer Yield & Product Engineering you will perform analysis of new product performance prior to production release and provide detailed status reports at each phase (test limit - guard band, correlation and yield summary reports). Moreover, you will be responsible for having close interaction with Product Test Engineering team and communicate technical product status to management.In your new job you will:Analyze the probe test and final test dataPerform yield enhancement and analysis and disposition of maverick material (MPE) Develop and implement test plans and procedures for power transistors to ensure they meet quality and reliability standards Perform root cause investigation of low yield through systematic analysis and support other engineering groups with NPI Drive cost reduction activities such as reduction of screening, yield improvement, test time reduction, etc. Work with reliability and quality team for analysis of RMA customer returns Be responsible for following up with foundries and test subcontractors/test houses to resolve all production issues Provide product development support which involves interfacing with design, test engineering, quality engineering and others Contribute to project plans by providing time-scale estimates Manage own time and assigned resources to meet timescales and quality objectiveThis position can be filled in Villach (AT) or Ottawa (CAN).With your independent working style, you ensure that deliverables are complete in high quality and remain aware of the big picture even in complex situations. You are best equipped for this task if you have:A university degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, with 5+ years of experience in a semiconductor companyDetailed understanding of semiconductor product life cycle from post silicon bring up, device characterization, qualification, pre-production support, release to volume production and product sustenanceKnowledge of semiconductor technology and (fabrication) processProficiency in at least one statistical analysis tool (JMP, spotfire, Vidas, etc.)Experience with GaN or other compound semiconductor devices strongly desiredUnderstanding of statistical analysis techniques (SPC, CPK, CPU, CPL, etc)Strong test development skills along with the ability to define hardware/ software needs for debug as a plusExperience in python programming as a plusWe offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification.
