With the IT-based voice communication system iSecCOM, we as a team are developing a product solution for predominantly military customers.As an Integration Engineer for the iSecCOM product, your tasks will focus on ensuring that different software components or modules work together correctly in an integrated system. With your integration strategy you will deliver a SW solution of the highest quality and thereby shape the future of secure air traffic with us. You will work closely with product managers and test engineers within a development team to identify and solve integration issues.Technologies: Linux Red Hat incl. High Availibility, Ansible, Postgres, Jenkins, GIT, container technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes), Java/Groovy, Phyton, Kamaillio, network protocols (TCP/IP, SIP, HTTP,...), Whireshark, JIRA, JAMA Key Tasks You integrate hardware/software modules and 3rd party components into our systems. You use the test cases you develop to check the functionality and compatibility of these components and modules. You will analyze system requirements and design documents to avoid potential integration problems or conflicts. To ensure that the integration test meets the customer's real requirements, you set up and configure test environments. You document your test results, identified problems and solutions seamlessly in Jira/Jama/Confluence. To improve quality, maintainability and test coverage, you will be involved in reviews and preparing feedback. You are part of a development team and also support colleagues from other teams with your know-how. Researching and implementing best practices and new technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the integration test round off your area of responsibility. Key Qualifications You have successfully completed a university degree with a focus on computer science, network engineering and at least 3 years of professional experience in the field of service, system integration or test engineering or a successful technical school degree (e.g. HTL) with a focus on computer science, network engineering and at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of service, system integration or test engineering.You have technical skills, analytical thinking and teamwork skills to ensure that software and hardware components are correctly integrated and work seamlessly together. You have a strong interest in Linux (Red Hat), virtualization, network technology (VoIP) and IT security and are up-to-date in these areas?  You have good IT infrastructure knowledge based on your previous professional experience. In rare cases you will travel to our customers and be on international business trips, were you have to communicate in English.
