Management and Programme AnalysisDevelopment of Analytic Methodologies and ProcessesAbility to analyse and manage the department policies and processes. Nuclear SafetyIAEA Safety StandardsExperience with the application of nuclear safety standards, procedures, judging their appropriateness and determining the necessity for adapting them. Nuclear SafetyInternational Nuclear Safety Issues and TrendsActively involved in International Nuclear Safety Issues and Trends Qualifications, Experience and Language skillsMaster's Degree - Advanced university degree, preferably in nuclear or other engineering sciences.A minimum of ten years of experience in nuclear or radiation safety or security with extensive experience in reviewing, revising and drafting high-level scientific, technical and regulatory related texts.Experience in an international multidisciplinary environment, with knowledge of the worldwide status and trends in nuclear and radiation safety.Excellent oral and written command of English. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish) is an asset. RemunerationThe IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $92731 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance), a variable post adjustment which currently amounts to US $ 42934*, dependency benefits, rental subsidy, education grant, relocation and repatriation expenses; Other benefits include 6 weeks' annual leave, home leave travel, pension plan and health insurance.
