Company Description We are looking for a Purchase to Pay Process and System Expert in our Global Procurement team in Elsbethen. You bring to the table hands-on experience with P2P systems within SAP ERP-MM coupled with a track record of process optimization, striving at continuous improvement. In this role, you will act as a partner for our various teams in Procurement and you will also be responsible for ensuring the optimal use of our systems related to Purchase 2 Pay. Job Description A strong Key-User, bridging P2P expertise with system and process knowledge With your knowledge of operational procurement, combined with system and process know-how, you are well equipped to achieve your main goal – streamlining our purchasing processes across procurement teams and improving systems, data and reports. In this position, you'll acquire insight into our operational processes and team-specific variations and understand interdependencies with neighboring functions. Knowledge Transfer and Training You deliver training, onboarding, and process documentation for our Procurement colleagues and suppliers, ensuring smooth system operation and adherence to defined processes and policies. Your role also includes ensuring implemented systems, especially new ones, are used correctly, by closing knowledge gaps and proactively managing the change. You update existing documentation with new functions and improvements, communicating changes effectively. Additionally, you keep stakeholders informed of updates and share regular news on developments. Identify gaps, describe and harmonize requirements across Procurement Teams Define internal and external requirements by specifying needs, incorporating different considerations (such as sustainability) and develop category specific acceptance criteria in collaboration with the procurement teams. Be the contact person for purchase to pay related questions during process & project discussions and explain variances, improvement potentials and gaps. You will initiate and guide enhancements in partnership with non-Procurement teams (e.g. centralized project management team, IT …), based on established requirements. Ensure the successful implementation by setting acceptance criteria, creating test cases, coordinating test execution with Procurement teams, and providing expert input on cross-functional projects as needed. Qualifications 3 years in a function in or close to procurement, ideally working experience with SAP ERP-MM or S/4 HANA. Previously held roles such as P2P Analyst, Procurement Specialist, or Systems Analyst, with a focus on managing and implementing improvements. Experience as a key-user or trainer is an advantage Experience in using reporting and analytics tools, ideally in the SAP environment Familiarity with data and process analysis tools Proactive team player with a strong desire to learn and stay up to date with new tools and technology standards Ability to recognize business needs, align, background, formulate and communicate them (e.g. user stories) Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working, ability to extract meaningful insights from data Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and management Additional Information Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2.202,00 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
