The Research Professional role within our Operations division serves as a critical hub for providing stakeholders with the latest scientific data, insights, and innovations in the energy drink industry. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our company remains at the forefront of technological advancements, production techniques, and ingredient innovations. The Research Professional collaborates closely with senior management to assess the scientific basis of ideas, conduct thorough literature and patent research, and present findings that inform strategic decision-making and drive innovation across all facets of our operations. Job Description RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS Your main responsibility involves conducting thorough research of scientific literature, compiling dossiers, and preparing technical notes. This information is crucial for informing senior management about the latest scientific advancements and trends. Additionally, you'll perform patent research to support ongoing projects, identifying opportunities for intellectual property development. PROJECT MANAGEMENT Managing research projects is another key aspect of your role. From project inception to completion, you'll ensure that timelines are met, results are delivered promptly, and effective communication is maintained with stakeholders throughout the process. Your project management skills will be essential in driving the success of our research initiatives. INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT You'll play a pivotal role in driving innovation within the company by investigating and evaluating novel ingredients and product innovation opportunities. Your insights will help enhance our product portfolio and maintain our competitive edge in the market. Furthermore, you'll explore alternative production processes for existing ingredients, aiming to improve efficiency and sustainability. EXPERT CONSULTATION AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT Drawing upon your expertise in specific scientific areas, you'll provide valuable input on collaborations with external companies. Your insights will help guide strategic decisions and foster beneficial partnerships. Additionally, you'll leverage knowledge management tools such as Mendeley and ODL to enhance research capabilities, streamline processes, and ensure that valuable information is effectively organized and accessible to the team. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in Natural Science & Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Technical Chemistry, or a similar field. 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a research or scientific capacity. Proficiency in reading and understanding scientific publications, with the ability to decipher technical jargon. Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to identify important scientific questions in multidisciplinary projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to senior management. Curiosity and a broad interest in natural sciences, coupled with a passion for learning and adaptation. Additional Information Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2392 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
