YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development: Identify, assess, and prioritize business opportunities in the automotive sector, specifically focusing on cybersecurity solutions. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including automotive manufacturers, suppliers, and technology partners. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in automotive cybersecurity. Analyze customer needs and market demands to develop targeted strategies and solutions. Solution Design and Proposal: Collaborate with technical teams to design and customize cybersecurity solutions for the automotive sector. Prepare proposals, presentations, and business cases to effectively communicate the value proposition and secure new business opportunities. Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key industry influencers. Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance on cybersecurity strategies and solutions. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling cybersecurity services. Industry Networking: Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance the company's visibility and expand the network of potential clients and partners. Stay informed about industry regulations, standards, and certifications related to automotive cybersecurity. Collaboration: Work closely with internal cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, and engineering, to ensure effective project execution and delivery of cybersecurity solutions. Collaborate with the product development team to provide market insights and contribute to the enhancement of existing solutions. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of business opportunities, including cost projections, revenue forecasting, and risk assessment. Ensure profitability and ROI targets are met for each business venture YOUR PROFILE: Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in cybersecurity are highly desirable. Proven experience in business development, preferably in the automotive industry with a focus on cybersecurity. Strong knowledge of automotive cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices, such as ISO 21434, SAE J3061, and NIST SP 800-53. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements. Business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify and prioritize business opportunities effectively.
