Job Description:As a division of DXC Business Process Services (BPS), we specialize in delivering HR and Payroll Services to our client in the FMCG industry, operating from our Shared Service Centre.Our service model follows a "Hub and Spoke" structure, with the "Hub" located in Wroclaw, Poland, and the "Spoke" situated in Vienna, Austria.In Vienna, our "Spoke" consists of country payroll subject matter experts who work directly with our client on-site in Austria.We are seeking a skilled HR and Payroll Specialist to join our team in Vienna, Austria. This role involves managing payroll-related projects and ensuring compliance with Austrian tax regulations.Responsibilities:Interface with client’s experts and external third partiesProcess complex payroll procedures and perform auditsVerify Social contributions and liaise with authoritiesStay updated on legal changes and update proceduresSupport year-end activities and recommend process enhancementsFluent written and spoken German and English2-3 years of payroll operations experienceIn-depth knowledge of payroll calculation, tax, and labor lawsKnowledge of: country specific declaration (tax, contribution, healthcare, pensions, life insurance)Ability to liaise with clients, country authorities and other members of the team outside of the countryAbility to train and coach team membersWillingness to work in a hybrid model (60% remote, 40% office-based) with a requirement to be in the office at least 3 days per weekWhat we offer: Flexibility and Work-Life Balance: Enjoy the best of both worlds with our hybrid work model.
