Take your career farther than you thought possible.Key Responsibilities and Major Duties:Collect and communicate medical insights:The Medical Science Liaison (m/f/d) should profile the medical landscape within the Disease Area and continuously update this knowledge, including knowledge and expertise in products, patient treatment trends, unmet medical needs, clinical trials and scientific activitiesEnsure awareness of current Key Insight Questions (KIQs) and proactively contribute insights gained from healthcare provider interactions to the internal Medical team.Contribute to the development of Brand Plans and Strategies by communicating his or her medical insight and knowledge about the product or disease area, in particular with reference to patients needs and treatment trends and as derived from contacts with Thought Leaders, other health-care providers or payersParticipate in the development of the Local Medical Plan and contribute to the overall Commercial Plan by leveraging medical insight and knowledge of recent scientific publications about the product or disease areaContribute to the development of and execute the Local Therapeutic Area Medical PlanScientific exchange with Thought Leaders:Develop and maintain TL engagement planProactively or reactively interact with healthcare providers, as appropriate, through face-to-face meetings, web conferences, teleconferences, e-mail, etc.Develop and maintain contacts with Thought Leaders, in accordance with the strategy developed by the company .Ensure appropriate response to unsolicited scientific questions or requests posed by Health Care ProvidersScientific partnership with external customers:Exhibit a high degree of familiarity with, and proficiency in, centrally developed scientific resources and presentations.
