This position is responsible for review and validation of documentation of completed work to repair disaster damaged public infrastructure, and of efforts taken to prevent damages from a disaster. The documentation may consist of Damage Descriptions and Dimensions (DDD), Scopes of Work, Cost Estimates, utilized force account labor and equipment, and contracted services. The documentation is validated against FEMA’s policies and eligibility requirements for reimbursement of costs. Incomplete documentation, inconsistencies, and missing data need to be documented and summarized in a request for information. All work products must be documented in an understandable manner and be defendable. All work is conducted within a web-based document and grant management system.This position description incorporates the core responsibilities of the job. The position would be an on-call hourly or temporary full-time role and working remotely.
