We are looking for YOU as "MRP Planning Specialist" to join our Global Supply Chain Planning Team in Elsbethen/Salzburg. In this role, you'll take over the responsibility of the global material requirement planning (MRP) for components of our finished products using state-of-the-art tools. Moreover, you'll be responsible for short-term material availability in alignment with internal and external stakeholders. Job Description SHORT-TERM PLANNING In this role you'll ensure that the semi-finished goods production can keep up with the finished goods production, by determining the net requirements. You'll also be responsible for short-term material availability in alignment with internal and external stakeholders by proposing order and replenishment quantities and timings. DATA QUALITY A smooth process requires a high data quality. Therefore, you'll ensure the data quality for all planning related parameters in our Planning Tools and Master Data Systems. You'll also track and monitor NPIs. INVENTORY MONITORING SEMI-FINISHED PRODUCTS An important part of this role is to plan and monitor the replenishment of semi-finished products within the production network. In case of deviations plan vs. actual, you'll take the corrective actions and align them with the involved parties. In addition, you'll continuously manage inventories to avoid waste and destruction of raw materials while still ensuring all-time availability and demand coverage. LONG-TERM PLANNING Together with the team, you'll also be responsible for ensuring correct global long-term production/procurement planning and the dependent requirements for semi-finished goods and raw materials. Therefore, you'll regularly monitor and check the automated processes and systems. The monitoring of overdue production orders and production requirements is also part of your role. KPI MONITORING You'll also analyse data and prepare it for the monthly alignment meeting that takes place between internal stakeholders such as planning, production and procurement. CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT To continuously develop our planning processes, you'll apply your planning skills and system know-how (e.g. SAP MM/PP, SAP APO, SAP ERP or master data systems such as SAP MDG-M) to support/lead supply chain projects. Qualifications 3 years experience in supply chain planning (ideally with knowledge of material requirements planning) Degree (Bachelor/Master) in Business Administration, Operations Management or similar OR qualification with relevant professional experience in the field Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in German considered a strong advantage Experience in state-of-the-art planning processes and systems such as SAP APO Demonstrated interest in thriving within dynamic, fast-paced environments, particularly within global organizations. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
