​Job title: Wind Construction EngineerLocation: Vienna, Austria (Hybrid)TGRC is currently looking for a Wind Construction Engineer, you'll be reporting to the Head of the Wind Department.This role requires solid technical expertise in wind energy, particularly in construction, as well as strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with various departments and external partners. The Wind Construction Engineer plays a central role in ensuring the smooth implementation of wind energy projects and ensuring their technical and financial integrity.Responsibilities:Procurement Support: Assisting in the preparation of Requests for Proposals, analyzing offers, suggesting shortlists, and negotiating contracts in close collaboration with the Head of Implementation for various aspects including:Studies required as a basis for design worksDesign worksBalance of plant works such as roads, foundations, cabling, etc.Supply and installation of main equipment such as wind turbine generators, power transformers, etc.Service contractsReviewing wind farm layouts, bill of quantities, civil and electrical designs generated during permitting (pre-design, building design), before tendering of works, during implementation (execution design), and the final as-built design.Providing technical information and cost estimations to the Financial Department for financial simulations.Supporting the Financial Department in technical aspects of Due Diligence conducted by third-party Financial Institutions.RequirementsDegree/master in engineering (e.g. civil or electrical engineering)Minimal 5 years of experience in the wind business or related construction activitiesKnowledge of MS Office, MS Project, basic CAD knowledgeKnowledge of FIDIC contracts would be an advantageLanguages: English fluently, additional language skills appreciatedIn conclusion, Don't miss this exciting opportunity to be part of the renewable energy revolution.
