As part of our Global Supply Chain, the Global Logistics unit is responsible to ensure an effective, sustainable, and cost-efficient logistics flow for our beverages and visibility items worldwide. To further improve our solutions, we are looking for a “Senior Logistics Specialist” strengthening our team.In this role, you'll pioneer cutting-edge supply chain solutions for Red Bull Logistics. You’ll lead the implementation of innovative logistics solutions, streamlining processes for a holistic view. You’ll analyse the logistics network, finding optimization opportunities and risk mitigation. You’ll collaborate globally with cross-functional teams and subsidiaries and finally you’ll serve as the logistics expert in shaping sustainability strategies with Group Sustainability.RESPONSIBILITIESAreas that play to your strengthsAll the responsibilities we'll trust you with:In this role you’ll ensure that the logistics setup is able to provide the requested service level and fulfils the needs of internal and external customers. Therefore, you’ll identify potential bottlenecks and gaps in existing logistics processes and derive actions for improving those. You’ll then lead those optimization initiatives with Red Bull subsidiaries, related to their logistics network and processes and ensure that all changes in logistics processes are done in a cost-efficient and sustainable way.After identifying opportunities for improvement, you’ll drive and manage these projects. You’ll also lead the implementations of cutting-edge technology and innovation initiatives. This also includes the testing of implemented solutions to ensure, that related projects are properly executed, deliver results and that our solutions retain in high quality.Sustainability is an important part of everything that we do. Therefore, an important part of your role will also be to further develop and implement our Logistics sustainability strategy in collaboration with the Group Sustainability business unit.Finally, you’ll also lead benchmark analyses for internal and external processes and stakeholders (e.g., 3PLs, co-packers, subsidiaries) that you’ll further use to initiate actions to upgrade their performance.Degree in business administration, supply chain, logistics or equivalentAt least 7 years working experience or specialized qualifications in Logistics / Supply Chain Management, ideally in an FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) environmentGood interpersonal skills, to build strong and effective relationships with Operational Management and the wider Red Bull communityHolistic view of processes and experience in change management projectsStrong project management skills with a definite “completer / finisher” mentalityGood skills on all MS products (Excel, Word, Power Point) is a must, programming is a plusKnowledge of SAP R/3 or S/4 is a mustAn analytical mind, able to isolate key issues and plan major initiatives to minimise problems or exploit opportunitiesFluent English is mandatory.
